Harmonic Convergence

Apr 5

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Ricky Tims' Harmonic Convergence method is a magical, easy way to make artistic quilts. In this class you will learn the theory behind this type of construction and demystify the process. There is a bit of intrigue using this method because the effect of your fabric choices is only realized as you progress through each step. After learning the process, you can use larger pieces of fabrics and slice them any way you like." Recommended for quilters with a sense of adventure and good ¼ “ piecing and rotary cutting skills. You will complete the quilt top during class. Convergence may become your favorite quilt for gift giving--as it’s easy to make, once you understand the steps, can be made to match the recipients’ favorite colors, and looks much more complex than it is to create.

You can watch a small video featuring the work of Ricky Tims on our InTheNews page.
