Welcome to the
Online Home of Windmill City
Quilts. Our shop was opened almost nine years ago
in the city of Batavia, IL. The nickname of Batavia is
"The Windmill City." This is where the shop got it's
name. Almost 5 years ago the second owner of the store
moved it to Geneva, IL but kept the name. In May of 2007
the current owners bought the shop in downtown Geneva, IL and
after a little more than a year we moved out of the
downtown location opting to grow our web presence while
maintaining the store from it's new location. We
affectionately call this our "Underground Quilt Shop."
